Hi — I'm Yanchao. I'm a mathematics PhD student at the University of Illinois Chicago, working in algebraic geometry under Izzet Coskun.

At the University of Melbourne I did a master's degree in mathematics and statistics, working with Xi Geng in stochastic analysis. I moved to the U.S. in 2024 to start the PhD, and my research has since turned to algebraic geometry.
